   In Calgary you get Snow here in Edmonton all we got was freezing rain!!

   Icy sidewalks the whole bit

   Very hard walking

   I agree with Kate that last photo deserves Framing

   It is indeed beautiful, Peter, and I too have enjoyed this day… But winter “at last”?
   I’ll be reminding you in March when it is winter still how long this season really lasts in our part of the world.:-)

   Great photos.

   Does “winter at last” in Calgary include frequent power interruptions? We’ve had many outages already here in Nova Scotia, including one lasting over 14 hours (on 19-20 Nov.), far longer than anything we had in 20 years in Yukon.

   The power’s been off and on several times today, so I’ll just post this before it crashes again.

   Scott, no our power is pretty good, though I live in the city so I don’t know how it is in rural Alberta.

   Wendy, glad you’re getting snow at last (or should that be commiserations?)
