It’s just when you’ve got more than a foot of snow lying, it’s hard to stop taking pictures. OK, it’s hard for me to stop taking pictures. But, as I said in my intro, I’m an ex-meteorologist and all-round weather nut, and that from time to time this sort of thing just happens. Grin and bear it…..
The sad thing is that a Chinook is expected soon this week, turning an average of -20c (-4F) into something more like 10c (50F), taking the snow with it (sigh). So I will stop inflicting these pictures on you then. 😉
From one who is suffering -21 C temperatures, with another 15-25 cms of snow on the way, I think you must be nuts.

You are not alone Peter, and it does look pretty, especially by the lake with a blue, blue sky. But as my children used to say, “Can we have some warm snow Mummy?”

Yes, the two things do rather go together don’t they? Me, I’m a very seasonal person – so I like my summers to be really summery. Likewise winters. 3 months of -10c to -20c and six foot drifs would do me nicely 🙂 Calgary being a lee rockies city, it doesn’t happen quite like that. Better than the UK though in any case!

I love it and wish we had more! I’m slightly jealous… 🙂
Only gray skies and rain here in the NW.
Blessings to you and enjoy the snow with your kids!
