Seek the Lord while He may be found.
Seek the Lord before the gates of mercy shut.
For none of us know when our time is up.
We have plans, purposes. Perhaps they will bear fruit, perhaps not.
The Lord is still the Lord whether or not we choose to acknowledge him.
All our time is in His hands. So redeem it well! And know how limited it is.
It is not morbid to think so, it is wisdom. Better than pretending all will stay the same.
So seek Him. Seek Him while He may be found!
And the Lord’s people said, “Amen”.
I’m glad they do :-). Next time, back to the very first word I received, in 2002. 10 years, my goodness.
By the way, for anybody that might be at all interested in how infrequently this blog gets updated these days – it’s a mixture of Church work taking my time (which is I suppose a good thing), and a determination a few years ago not to get caught into the trap of feeding the blog. I know not many people read these ramblings, but I’m sure if there is a pearl in the rough of these scribblings, the Lord will lead the right person to it at the right time.
