Thought for the day….

“The weakness of so many modern Christians is that they feel too much at home in the world. In their effort to achieve restful adjustment to unregenerate society they have lost their pilgrim character and become an essential part of the very moral order against which they are sent to protest. The world recognizes them and accepts them for what they are. And this is the saddest thing that can be said about them. They are not lonely, but neither are they saints.” – A.W.Tozer

Makes one pause and consider the truth of Tozers words.
“They are not lonely, but neither are they saints.”
May the Lord help us all to examine our hearts daily, to see where we really stand, and may He have mercy upon us all.

Every blessing and grace to you Peter; I finally have a day off tomorrow and hopefully can find time to write and email ( after prayer and some much needed time in the Word )

Our love to you and Ruthie, and the children of course! 🙂

I cant disagree, and have been guilty of the same-to a point. But how God the Holy Spirit has dealt with me is that He never allows me to become very comfortable in this world. Even with this, I fall short. Personally, I look forward to the time when the flesh/spirit struggles are no more.

Amen. I think that we’re all a little more comfortable here than we should be. This is something to be mindful of.

Have a blessed day in Jesus.
