Um, I think we discussed this habit of yours to not keep that which is yours with you. For those who do not know it only snows once a winter in Alberta. The rest of the time is spent blowing it from place to place.
Yes Wendy, Edmonton usually gets it even worse than we do! However, only Calgary can boast snow in July and 20c in January. 😉
prairiewords – So did you get a little present from us this morning? (evil grin)
But Kate, I am sure we will generously send this your way before long, after all we’re already sharing with Manitoba right now. Personally, I blame Scott, he started it.
Those storms have usually lost their oomph by the time they get to Ontario, haven’t they?
I thought our worst weather usually came from the North East…
Beautiful pictures of Fish Creek, and the wonderful blue sky: so uplifting. And it must be coming our way as a warning for snow in Dorset on Friday has just been given. No doubt it will miss the Isle of Wight!
Peter,
I was thinking “how lovely! How I wish I were there…” and then I saw the thermometer. BRRRR!!!
Still, the winter snow is beautiful and beckons to my soul. I love to walk upon it, to hear it scrunch beneath my feet; to feel the air, cold, brisk, and yet invigorating upon my face…
everything is somehow quieter, and more peaceful when there is snow. The dull grey and brown of winter is clothed in a beautiful blanket of white, yes it is lovely though cold. I think perhaps I should like being there after all to take a walk and marvel at Gods winter wonder of white.
Blessings to you Petros! Much grace and joy, vision and hope; ever and always in our Lord Jesus Christ.
I know that you westerners are openhearted and generous, Peter, but, um, this cold front? You can have it back. Really. My eyelashes were doing their best to freeze together as I waited for the bus this morning.
Thank you Peter.
It’s cold out there
When I look at the pictures I can see God’s handiwork
Edmonton is suppose to be -41 on Tuesday

Better You Than Me, she thought, in a very uncharitable and unchristian manner.
