Just been spending the weekend ‘visiting’ (as they say here) with Richard and Susan. We took a trip into the foothills to look at a building that would be superb for community (something on my heart and that seems increasingly likely to be a necessity in the days to come).
Rest of the time we chatted, shared histories, scared unsuspecting people (“how did you meet”…..”via the internet”….”ah, um” (pause) ), prayed and spent good time just hanging out. Talked a bit about what we see coming up, more on that later if it seems right. It was good to turn the months of e-communication into a real visit! 🙂
Blogging will resume, God willing, as the week progresses……
Greetings. I talked with Susan yesterday and she mentioned the trip to the foothills. Such communities of saints being in close contact will be imperative as we move into the night season. To exhort and pray for each other as everything around us is shaken in ways that few are prepared for.
I pray that all would take seriously the times that we find ourselves in; not to be fearful or dramatic, but to abide in the secret place of the most high. Thanks for posting and being in touch.
Have a blessed day in Jesus.

You are right indeed Timbob – I see this coming from so many different angles.
And it’s not just me – look at this post from Mark Mallet: http://www.markmallett.com/blog/?p=483. Now, there are things we would not see eye-to-eye on, particularly the Marian angle, however it’s notable that the same thing is coming from many different areas of the Church – Catholic and Protestant alike.

Peter
