Why am I giving these warnings? Is it to frighten, to bring fear and paralysis? No! The only fear I seek to bring is the type that is the beginning of wisdom.
The Lord is deeply faithful, in Him can we entrust everything, and I mean everything. He will not, no not EVER, let us down.
This time, it is a time of preparation, a time to dig down deeply in Him. For, in Him there is no shaking and His grace sufficient for all our needs.
Never forget this.

I saw a wave in the distance. It looks benign, insignificant right now.
I was made aware that the old house – the house of God as it is currently – cannot withstand what is coming.
What is coming? A tsunami, a storm.
What storm? A storm both of persecution and of revival. And we are ready for neither.
We have to be ready, for it is coming. The old structure will not stand. We cannot run for we are called to stand, but we are called to build the house anew. A stronger, deeper house, built on the Rock of Ages.
This word was given to me in May 2003:
“If you build it, they will come”
Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.
The Age To Come 
Good word, may we dig deep into the heart and presence of He who is our Lord and Savior, while it is day, for the night will come, the night will come.

May God help us to be ready, to have eyes that watch the sky and discern the times. The daylight is waning, and when the night comes it will be too late for many.
But then, o then comes the glorious return of our Saviour!
“When you see these things come to pass lift up your heads for your redemption draws near.”
May we pray to the Lord of the harvest to raise up laboreres while it is yet day, for the harvest is indeed plentiful but true laborers are few.
I believe this is the last hour in the marketplace, the last hour, the last generation to gather workers in…
I could be wrong of course, but I think this is so.

I’d be interested in digging into this a little more. There are themes here – on one hand a time of trial that will also be a time of revival, on the other hand night that will come, when no-one can work.
Now, these could be the one and the same thing. And indeed it could be that we see but through a glass dimly. However, I am curious, how do you understand these things?
We, as a church, have been called to be a lighthouse, it seems.

With the passing of time more pieces to the puzzle are given, and the picture becomes a bit clearer. For what it’s worth, It seems from what I’ve been shown that the following will occur simultaneously:
A False Revival with false signs; increased apaostacy
Disasters, from the”natural” ( Tsunamis, storms etc. if you will,
and from man ( terrorist attcks perhaps, economic decline… )
An awakening and revival accompanied by an outpouring if the Holy Spirit, with true signs, and wonders, dramatic transformations as people come to Christ, many outside the traditional church;
Great Persecution from without and within…
Then the dark night of winter.
The best if times and the worst of times all at the same time, an exciting time to reach the lost with the love of Christ, to be a light in the darkness and have the peace that passes understanding in the midst of unprecedented difficulty ( at least for us in the West ). For those who are being tried by fire now will be able to stand in the darkest times and offer hope and peace in the midst of chaos and sorrow.
The Hope found in Jesus Christ and life eternal!

We don’t know exactly what will happen; I think in general, the signs given are pointing in the direction you both describe. My concern is that our human fear of these things not destroy us or keep us from doing what Christ wants to do through us. Whether we like it or not, we are called to serve Christ in our generation; this is the fight that is laid down before us. The only way to stand is to take refuge in God our rock and fortress. Christ has given us authority over the powers and prinicipalities. At this time we will have to accept that authority and exercise it as Christ directs us to. Yes, fear is a powerful thing but is much more powerful.

Good point Dan! There is no need to fear, come what may, when we are in Christ and doing His will.
The greatest power is love, it never fails, for God is love. It is the most powerful force; stronger than hate, overcoming death.
That doesn’t mean christians won’t suffer or that bad things never happen to them, it just means Jesus is always with us no matter what and his grace will carry us through.
But fear, fear has torment. It paralyzes.
I know you are concerned for your children but the Father loves them Dan, they are in His care.
When I asked the Lord what we should be doing He just let me know we are to seek Him every day, keep ministering as He leads, and plan as if we have time still;
yet be prepared if we wake up one day soon and everything has been turned upside down. I don’t know if that helps any…

Hi Dan, thanks for posting. This is why I prefaced the Tsunami post – us folk need to wake up – but wake up to trust, not fear. We will have everything we need even as things get more difficult.
For me, what is hardest is when I contemplate our young kids. I know whose they are ultimately, still it is sometimes hard. The Lord has them in His hand, whatever may befall, and I’m still learning that.
Anyway I agree, we don’t and won’t know exactly, indeed spending too much time on speculation is a real distraction from what we are to be about. Still, grant me a moment of curiosity in exploring this. 😉

I have seen certain things and try sometimes to put them together, but am absolutely certain we all only see part, like different facets of a prism.
I expect it will be quite beyond anything I can imagine!
Anyway, all we can do is just keep moving forward doing what we can for Jesus each day, and leave it up to Him.
I am so glad I am not God, I would make a mess of things!

I guess none of us know really what exactly’s going to occur, indeed that’s not the point. Like you say, we only see in part.
Really, the main thing is about where our hearts are before God, digging deep into the Word, waiting on the Lord, loving and obeying Him, being aware of the ‘signs of the times’, coming to repentance and a deeper trust in Him. Well, I’m waffling but you get the idea hopefully.
Still, it is good sometimes to put the parts together, a little bit like making a jigsaw or something. Deeper insight can result…..

this is life , this is everything.
But “it” is intriguing, and I do beileve we are to discern the times.We do not see what we do Peter, without reason (as you well know ! : )

I had commented somewhere else on your blog that I would like to share Randy’s dream but wanted to ask him about it first. so now I have his permission, here is what I recall him sharing:
(We had been discussing the shaking and judgment of God that we see coming on the church in the west.)
Randy’s Dream
In his dream, two of the leaders of their house church were at a table. On the table was a huge map of the world. They were discussing history and where God’s move would come. They seemed to have some idea of just where it would be and were talking about it. While they were doing this, a sleigh was placed on the table.
This sleigh represented the move of God. Randy’s attention was drawn to the runners on the sleigh. They were very solid; made of hand-forged metal. When the others saw the sleigh, they went to move it over just a little to what they thought was the right place. It was absolutely immovable! It was like there was a huge magnet or force of gravity holding it in place.
Before Randy began to share all this, he had said he didn’t know if he should share his dream yet because he didn’t know what it meant. As he talked about the runners on the sleigh and described them, he kept saying, “There is something about those runners … I don’t understand it.”
I felt very comforted when Randy talked about the sleigh. Later in the meeting, I told him that and suddenly the Lord revealed what the sleigh and runners meant — What God is putting in place is made by his own hands. It is solid, steadfast, immovable. Just as Randy couldn’t understand what the runners meant, we cannot understand what God is doing. It is such a big paradigm shift for us that we cannot grasp it. We have to trust him.
At the beginning of the meeting we had read Isaiah 30:15, “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength but you would have none of it.”

My comment –
Our natural bent as we see the desperate state of the church, as we long for a great move of God, is to run out and do something. We want to fix it and we think we know how. But we don’t. But He does!
I don’t know about others, but to me it seems very clear that God for some hundreds of years now has been steadily restoring his church to the original plan. First with the reformation then with Asuza street and the following charismatic renewal, he has restored what was lost and each time it shocked us all. Now he has come to restoring the very structure and leadership he planned.
This, to me, was the message of the dream – God is restoring his organization or perhaps we should say the organism of his church. He is making it back into a family and body instead of a hierarchy. To do this will indeed require a tsunami. We must draw near to him in repentance and trust. He must enlighten us or we cannot understand it because all our experience is so far removed from the original.
Of course this is the part that I see . . .

That dream certainly speaks to me – especially the immovable sleigh – I am the impatient type but through trials etc. have come to a place of dependency and peace that whatever happens will be of the Lord’s timing.

Yes, what is to come certainly won’t be authored by us. It’ll all be of God. The sense I get right now is “wait…” – the Lord , He will do it. It’s kind of diffficult for us, so used to the illusion of being able to control everything.

Peter, I’m a regular reader. Thank you for sharing your words with us – I am sure that is not an easy thing to do. It takes courage. Just wanted you to know that this is appreciated. I hear the spirit in words here, yours and some others.
Your comment above “We, as a church, have been called to be a lighthouse, it seems” struck home for me personally, as my husband and I had only the day before decided to change our plans specifically to enable us to commit unreservedly to and stay within the tiny interdenominational (Assembly of God) church we have been going to in recent months. It was truly a decision led by God, and quite an unusual one – the details aren’t necessary here – but I mention it because the subtitle for the church is “Lighthouse for the lost”.
and something Padraic posted to the “A storm is coming” thread. Noah keeps coming up recently, and a key learning was something my pastor said a few weeks ago. We were studying about Noah in bible class, about how he worked for a hundred years on the ark before the flood came. One question we were asked was “what did Noah get for his faithfulness?” and one of Pastor Erny’s comments, that “Noah was able to save his family” through his own personal faithfulness came home to me in a “Eureka!” way. We are not told how his sons and daughters in law felt, but Noah’s own effort saved them all.
The feeling that something earthshaking is coming from God is everywhere. And the weight and concern for the people of the world is heavy on all Christians. I found myself praying please Lord – we need more time – please Lord save them all – wrap your love around all the earth – come to those who have not known you – please leave no one behind! And then God showed me these passages – my bible literally opened in my hands to these pages simultaneously:
First is Isaiah 60: 17 through 22 (and in my bible, this portion of verse 16 begins the page: “Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob” so that is where I began reading), and then chapter 61. Read in the Spirit when you read these, see the words new.
Second was Isaiah 65:8, that verse only:
“Thus saith the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.”
It is one on one, two by two. New wine in new wineskins. We can offer our own faith to save our families, and more than so, all of those we love, even my friends who call themselves athiests but who God gave to my life and without whom Heaven for me would be incomplete. If we but love – if we but love – if we but love. If we just love them they can come too. God loves us that much, and loves those we love that much.He told us so! Just a little new wine in the cluster, just a small amount “…so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy…”

Tina, thanks so much for the comment. This really resonates – in our prophetic group at church we were told “if you love me enough to love the others, they will come”.
